As of 11:01 pm tonight we will be in a legal strike position. If the union decides to implement rotating strikes, certain locations will be selected and notified, usually 4-5 hours before. Winnipeg may be selected, or we may not. We may or may not be selected for a number of days. If or when we are selected, you will be notified a couple of hours prior to being on strike and with instructions. Until you are notified, continue to report to work as usual. If there is a lock out, you will be notified. If the employer decides to change some of the terms of our collective agreement you will be notified with instructions. It is a stressful time for all of us but we we will get through this together. There are more than 55,000 members across the country that are feeling the same way we are. Stay strong!!
